Dear Matthew (The Oatmeal) Inman:
Thank you for the autographed book! I’ve proudly displayed it next to my prize hand-blown octopus and a doll given to me by a gypsy lady last week after I accidentally ran over her foot. She was super nice about it. Not a word of complaint. She GAVE ME A DOLL and then just whispered “thinner” in my ear and hobbled away. What a sweetie.
Anyway, off to go shopping! Diet is finally working and I need some new clothes – Whoo whoo!
Thanks again!
Amy

- Wondering about the creepy mummy doll? Found it here. Don’t even ask how I bumped into this page. I’ll be reliving it nightly for some time.

I am obsessed the “The Oatmeal,” which means I hate you and want to slash your tires right now. However, you are also equal amounts of awesomeness and vengeance, so that would not be a wise choice. Instead, I’ll just be jealous 😉
I paid for the book… I should probably point that out… I’ll add a link to this article – I should have thought of that!
the “thinner” comment just made me laugh obnoxiously loud.

Wasn’t sure how many people would get the old Stephen King reference, but I actually woke up thinking: “I should take a picture of that Oatmeal book with my octopus and a creepy doll.” Which, in itself, is kind of creepy. But you have to do what you have to do!
I love The Oatmeal! Matt is such a creative and.. interesting artist!
