I am so glad that you are getting regular doses of love. That hamster is adorable but I too would worry about rolling one her or stepping on her. The pain of the passingof a furbaby never goes away, but a new on can fill your moments with a new joy. I am glad that you are willing to fall in love again in spite of the pain.

Cute pup. I prefer my dogs a bit bigger like a Collie or Great Dane though we don’t have any right now.

(((((( Amy & Mike )))))), I’m so sorry to hear of Gordon’s passing. He was so young, may I ask what happened?
If you do decide to get a small dog, don’t worry about stepping on them or rolling over on them. They can wear a bell on their collar, and for the other problem, they usually take up most of the bed ❤️

        Amy,
Gordon certainly did not look his age. Did you adopt him when he was older? He always looked liked a big fluffy puppy.
Again, I’m so sorry for your loss, I’m a dog lover and have gone through this many times and it never gets easy or hurts less. Each dog is special and a family member, the joy and companionship they give is priceless. ❤️🐶❤️

This piece was really brilliant. The writing was really entertaining and it showed a wonderfully beautiful worded sentiment. There is a lot of thought that goes into a pet and they are really loved when it is treasured like that.

So sorry to hear about Gordon. My heart-dog Magic passed too early (degenerative myeolopathy) and it nearly killed me since he inspired my thrillers. But–last April, we found Bravo! He’s just over a year now, and 107 pounds (not a hamster, maybe a pony?). He brought joy back to the house–but it took time for us to be ready (you’ll know when the time is right). Harley is quite a character!
