Name the Amusement Park For Books

First, Thank You!

Thank you to all the people who let me know their favorite cozy mystery themes — I’m still working out what #13 will be about, but I’ll pick a winner(s) soon!

And now… Another Contest! Name the amusement park in my next book and win!

I’m waiting on the cover for The Girl Who Was Forgotten, the new Shee McQueen mystery, but in the meantime, I need your help naming something again…. this time it’s an AMUSEMENT PARK.  Imagine you were opening an amusement park next door to Disney World in Florida… what would you name it?

Enter by leaving your idea in the comments below or send me an email at amy@amyvansant.com

I’ll pick 20 random winners of the ebook when it is released and one winner of the paperback version!

Your Moment of Archer: He’s Got Your Number

We’re teaching him to count! He can do it every time the first try, and then he loses his mind and starts barking all over the place, but here’s one where he’s pretty good. I think it was attempt 500 so he’s a little frustrated.

    Weirdland–the weirdest place on earth.

IRL, we once stayed at a hotel outside of Orlando that was adjacent to a little amusement park that had rides, food, mini golf, etc. It was packed with families. I swear those parents told their kids they were at Disney World.

Good job, Archie! Indy can only count to 4. That’s how many treats she gets at bedtime–one for each paw. If she gets shorted, she gives us the death stare. If I break her treat in 4 pieces, that’s OK. As long as it’s 4. More than 4 is OK, too. 🤣

Fantasy Farm (this was an amusement park in the ’80s in Middletown, Ohio, next to Americana, an also now defunct amusement park). I just like the name.

I would name the amusement park the Next Best Thing . If you can ‘t go to Disney, this park would be the “next best thing “. Get it?

Was going to suggest Fun in the Sun, but see that someone beat me to it. How about “S’Miles of Fun.”

I don’t have a name, but my idea is that Disney World is super expensive for an entire family, so a name that lets people know they can have great family fun at an affordable price – hmmm??? The Affordable Amusement Park!

You said “next door” so the best name for the new amusement park is:
      FIRST STOP FOR FUN
