I like the alliteration like the person who said Pineapple People’s Palace, but I also like Pineapple People’s Paradise or Actively Aging Adult Community (nursing home and retirement center). Or Spirited Senior Community (Nursing and Retirement Center)

I think most of those names are too long. Instead ‘Actively Ageing’ or ‘Spirited Seniors’ or just ‘Pineapple Parlors’ well maybe not the last lol

While I have to give ‘props’ to my lovely, late MIL who christened her last abode “The Wrinkle Farm,” and I like the above-suggested “Ripe Banana Cabana” (I can surely relate to the brown spots!), I’ll throw out: The Sands of Tranquility (better than Senility Tranquility – LOL), or something to do with Rock of Ages.

I was going to rack my brain for a name, but after reading Don Vitz’s
“The Blue Haired Lagoon”, and cracking up. I’m not so sure I could come up with a better name ☺
Another of his I liked as well “Anteroom to the Pearly Gates”.
    Very peaceful and reassuring.
Anyway, I’ll mull over names as I feed my dogs and do other chores, but I still doubt I can come up with anything better than his.

Most “Seniors”/Nursing Homes in my travels have been call “Manor” or “Estate”. My guess it that the owners want to assure the families that this Nursing Home is “upper crust’ / La-Dee-Ah / prestigious enough to impress their friends. My mom was living in “Highland Estates” – an active Senior’s residence”. She had her own suite, but meals were served in a common dining area (if you missed a meal, with out letting the staff know you would absent, then nurses started looking for you to make sure everything was OK.
    My suggestions would be:
    – Pineapple Port Manor or Pineapple Port Estate, or
    – Outer Banks Manor or Outer Banks Estate, or
    – Pineapple Beach House Manor or Pineapple Beach House Estate.

The “tag line “an active senior’s residence” can cover a myriad of antics and activities that could and mostly did happen in my Mom’s place — and even blind, she was right in the middle of all of the fun!!

I look forward to your new book — May the Senior Games Comence
