Email This Post HomeFictionNew Free-Discount Book Service & a good laugh cry. Amy Vansant March 24, 2017 Fiction, Humor 10 Comments I have exciting news to share, but I am exhausted! My book marketing site, AuthorsXP.com, launched a new service called the “Daily Deal Machine” to send the latest free/discounted books right to your inbox. Once you hop in, you can set your preferences so you only get deals for mysteries, for example. Please swing by and check it out! This is what it looks like, below… Gosh, Amy, was it a smooth launch? Riiiight. Although my programmer and I tested the system a billion times, we had a teeny-tiny glitch… the first newsletter went out to some people four times. Aah! That’s just want you want with a new service – for people to think you’re going to send them fifty emails a day. Then we realized that the author for all the books featured in that first newsletter was….wait for it…. ME! War and Peace…by Amy Vansant… Catcher in the Rye…by Amy Vansant That was so horrible and funny at the same time I almost laugh/cried. Spent the day fixing everything…and then long story short, my programmer accidentally emailed a small portion of the list four times AGAIN the next morning. NOOOOOOooooooo! So if you were one of the people who thought I’d turned into a giant spam machine, I APOLOGIZE! If you unsubscribed, please consider trying it again. Everything is fixed now. Whew! So get yourself some free and discounted books at the AXP Daily Deal Machine! AND/OR Win some paranormal romance reads this week! The emails are priceless – where else can one be regaled with would-be assassin turkeys, an accidental serial spammer, great contests (and I didn’t hack your computer for a book title, I’m simply and modestly clever), etc. But I really like the books, too! Sometimes I worry people are annoyed by my newsletters (we all get so much mail), so this made me feel better. 🙂 Thank you!! 0 likes Reply Christine Lowe March 24, 2017 This just confirms my thoughts that computers will be the downfall of civilization as we know it. If the EMP imp gets confused we’ll be reduced to pen and paper. 0 likes Reply Amy Vansant March 28, 2017 I have mixed feelings on that… 🙂 0 likes Reply Jane Armstrong March 24, 2017 That is funny! I hope you got everything sorted out by now. I guess I did get about 4 emails that looked the same. No big deal. 0 likes Reply Amy Vansant March 28, 2017 Thank you for your patience! 🙂 0 likes Reply Susan Perez March 25, 2017 I’m really excited about joining your Club and receiving books at the moment I don’t have a tablet to download e-books do you have pape do you have I’m very excited about reading your books thank you and have a good night! 0 likes Reply Amy Vansant March 28, 2017 I’m afraid the authors find paperbacks too expensive to ship! You can download kindle reader on any computer though, phones, laptops, etc. Hope that helps! https://www.amazon.com/kindle-dbs/fd/kcp 0 likes Reply Linda Moffitt March 28, 2017 Huh I didn’t know you wrote War and Peace Now I really want to read it 0 likes Reply Amy Vansant March 28, 2017 Thank you, I had a lot of spare time in 1868. 🙂 0 likes Reply Leave a Reply to Jane Armstrong Cancel ReplyYour email address will not be published.CommentName* Email* Website Add me to Amy Vansant's Humor Newsletter!
